Hello, hello everyone – There aren’t too many things left for the brown Gates theme, so I’d like to start on the dark version of it. I have a few colors in mind for this, so I came up with some swatches I’d like you to vote on. Additionally, there are two more polls below, so please vote on those, too!

I’m going to vote (6) none of the above, but I’m aware of the difficulty I would have envisioning so many colors applied to the screen. It’s a lot to ask to retool a sample 5 times, but I’d need that in this situation.
Honestly, I don’t like the Gates theme. I think it is too much, to heavy. BP themes should be very, very clean because of the abundance of information. I bought the buddy pass because I want to influence the next theme, but Gates, I don’t care much about it.
I want to see a very clean, web 2.0 like type of theme, with widgets in the fat footers, or banner adds, etc.
Clean, clean, clean.
@Andres – The neat thing about Gates and futures BuddyPack themes is that you can get rid of much of the busy things — icons, widgets, background image. They’re all controlled by CSS, so it’s relatively easy to tweak it to suit your needs. But having said that, I prefer the minimalist approach, as well (eg. my own site), so either this next one or the third theme will definitely be a lot simpler =)
