My name is Mike, and I design digital experiences. I also like to write out my thoughts, hence, this site.
I’ve spent more than a decade designing digital experiences mostly for apps, which is to say that it’s not for the faint of the heart, especially if you like art and design. While that may sound counterintuitive, consider the following acronyms that can be tossed around on the daily when talking SaaS: PD, UX, IA and CX. Oh, the joy!
What my kids have come to coin as boring, I’ve wholeheartedly embraced as a second language. Designing extends beyond the color palettes, border radii and prettifying experiences; it’s about finding a flow and solving problems at scale. Maybe my marvelous mini-me’s will come around on that someday.
